As of 2pm PST Dec/23/2008, Christmas delivery will require that packages be shipped via overnight service. Instruments that are in stock and setup, can be shipped via overnight with a cutoff point of 2PM PST 12/23/08.
Overnight for violin or mandolin sized packages will run $45-$120 (estimated) depending on your location.
*Shipments to Northern California and Eastern NV, may still be shipped via Standard Ground Service with a cutoff of 2PM PST 12/23/08.
-----------------------
We are located in California. If you are in the Eastern United States, Standard ground shipments shipped after Friday Dec. 17 will not arrive by Christmas.
We are able to ship via Expedited methods.
Our website will only calculate standard shipping. For expedited shipping, give us a call.
Any small items will be shipped via Postal service which usually takes 2-3 days. This will be done at no additional cost.
Larger items (most anything over 2 LBS) can be shipped 3 day, second day, or Overnight. For Musical instruments such as guitars, this can get expensive... For something like a violin, it may be affordable.
Since many instruments need additional work before we ship them out, we may not be able to ship the same day.
The closer you are to California, the less time we need to get your order to you.
If you need it by Christmas, give us a call. We can look at all the variables and go over options with you.
We would rather lose your business than have an unhappy customer.
That said, we will do our best to get orders out in a timely fashion.
