Q: I am considering purchasing a Michael Kelly A-Plus Mandolin. However, I would like it to be shipped to me with a new cast Michael Kelly tailpiece and a strap button installed near the heal of the neck. Is this possible to do during your standard set up procedure? Of course I am willing to pay for the installation.
A: Folkmusician is a full service shop and more than happy to customize the mandolin to your specific needs. There would be no problem changing to the Michael Kelly Cast tailpiece and adding a strap button. We will contact you with a quote.
